Engine Repair
Rough idle, leaks, overheating or strange noises — we find the cause first, then recommend the right fix.
Learn moreA car’s air conditioning does more than keep you cool — it also dries the air to clear fogged windows. When it blows warm, smells musty or makes a noise there is usually a specific cause: low refrigerant from a leak, a failing compressor, a blocked condenser or an electrical fault.
We work out which it is rather than topping up and hoping, and we also look at heater and defrost problems so the cabin stays comfortable and the windows stay clear in every season.
If you notice any of these, it is worth having your car looked at sooner rather than later.
Pick a time online or call (778) 692-0082 and tell us what your car is doing.
We find the cause, explain it in plain language and give you a clear estimate before any work starts.
You approve the work, we get it done properly, and you are back on the road.
The most common cause is low refrigerant from a small leak, but it can also be a compressor, condenser, fan or electrical fault. A pressure test and leak check shows which.
A sealed A/C system should not need regular top-ups. If it has gone low there is usually a leak, and recharging without finding the leak means it will simply run low again.
Moisture can collect in the evaporator and cabin air filter and grow odours. Replacing a dirty cabin filter and cleaning the system often helps.
